How to Cancel a workorder once the provider has started

Hi

Currently we recall and cancel a workroder which was started by the provider and we see the below error for recallcommand

{"Type":"Corrigo.Core.CorrigoBORuleViolationException","Description":"You cannot recall a {!{Work Order}!} once the {!{Provider}!} has started it"}

But we do have a critical business use case to cancel such workorders, is there a way to do that?
