API Credential - Timeout

Per this thread – what credentials should we use for API connections?

As far as we can tell we should be able to connect to the API. However, it’s timing out and we can’t connect. According to the KB there are specific credentials that work in the API connection that differ from the user credentials, and to reach out to BA to obtain them.
