Parent/Child relationship in Asset Tree?

Hello Corrigo,

Is there anything in the asset tree or API that indicates if a model / Asset has a parent child relationship? For example I have at Distance 2 in the tree an asset called Phone System, and a hardware asset at level 3 called AT&T. In the assetData export the path has it as AT&T is a child of Phone system. I'm not seeing any way to tell this relationship via the API. the only way I know this relationship is via the export of AssetData and looking at the Path and in the UI under Asset Builder. Any help /suggestions are greatly appreciated.
